I've been browsing on-line more than three hours today, yet I by no means discovered any fascinating article like yours. It is pretty value sufficient for me. In my view, if all web owners and bloggers made good content as you did, the web shall be a lot more helpful than ever before.

We are just beginning a Plant-Grow-Give Program. We are working with some of our intellectually challenged individuals, teaching them to plant and grow a vegetable garden, and then give what they grow to a local soup kitchen. Having planting boxes would help us tremendously. How do we get involved?
Thank you.

Hello. I am a teacher in a suburb outside Toronto, and I was wondering if you could give me more details about the program, specifically how you manage the growing season to work with the school year. I know your program is for schools in New York, but I was thinking I could create a similar experience for my students on my own. Any advice?

Hello,

I am a parent of two children now attending PS 32 in Gowanus/Carrol Gardens Brooklyn. Last season we started a small garden for the school. We would like to do a considerable expansion for this coming season to enlarge the capacity for the students and their families. Please let me know if this is a project that Adopt a Farmbox would consider getting involved with.

Thank you

Hello,

The Pratt Center for Community Development's Arts, Culture, and Sustainability Project is collaborating with the Bedford Stuyvesant Restoration Corporation and Bed-Stuy Alive! to organize the Restoration Rocks Music Festival. The theme for this year’s event is “Live Healthy, Live Well, Live Green.” This free, all-day community event happening on Saturday, October 8th is the kick off to the Bed-Stuy Alive! Festival, celebrating the artistic legacy and cultural diversity of the neighborhood.

The Community Festival aspect of this event will take place on Fulton Street between Marcy Ave and Brooklyn Ave (in front of Restoration Plaza) and will feature booths by community vendors, highlighting and educating on community health and sustainability. We would love to have Adopt A Farmbox participate in this event as a community vendor. You can visit the Bedford Stuyvesant Restoration Corporation's website (http://www.restorationplaza.org/) for more information on Restoration Rocks and you can download the Vendor Application form from the Bed-Stuy Alive! website (http://bedstuyalive.org/2011/08/vendor-application/). Please don't hesitate to contact me if you have any questions.

Thank you!
